Sometimes described as the strangest book in the world, the Codex Seraphinianus is a collection of art by Luigi Serafini, an Italian architect. Written entirely in a fictional language and script, the Codex appears to be an encyclopedia of another world. The images, at once completely alien and yet strangely familiar are quite evocative, and the sheer internal consistency leads one to believe it has more meaning than it actually might.

In case you're thinking this whole thing is complete work of fancy and nothing more, someone cracked the numerical system a few years ago. Turns out it's a variation it has a base of 21, oddly enough. Anyway, the language is clearly not english, but I couldn't leave that blank so it stays as is. Enjoy!
